Opinion About the Blogs

Write the blogs was very fun for me, because I learn too much thinking and discussing with my classmates the different topics of the blogs, I think the blog is a very good stage to communicate my opinion about many different topics, with this tool I can say what I think.

The only problem was the time, this course was too short and I would have liked have more classes, another one bad point was the difficulty to managing my time, many times I felt stressed and my performance in the subject was not the better for it, I fell a little bad about it.

Returning to the theme the blog was a very good tool for learn English because I think writing the blogs I improve my English, besides I think the blog is a good an fun way for improve the English because is too interactive and puts us in contact with the technology of the internet,

My favorite topic of the blogs was when we write about a song, because I felt very nearness whit my teacher and with my classmates, I remember a very nice conversation with Mario and Miguel about this topic, and the different song with special meaning for each of them.

My favorite classmate blog was the blog of Miguel because he has decorated very well his blog has too stile, it is cool.

That was my experience with the blog in English class, I thinking about not close my blog and occupy it like a platform to publish what I think and feel and of course some interesting research or information.

In conclusion the blog was a excellent tool for me to learn English, the only bad thing was the time, and I apologize for that, thank for this subject, I think I like english after this subject J

Las Meninas By Diego Velasquez

My favorite piece of art is “Las Meninas” is a 1656 painting by Diego Velazquez, is a beautiful piece of art because represent a complex an enigmatic mean, actually different artist around the world give different meanings to the painting.

In the painting appear a large room in the castle of king Felipe IV of Spain, and in to this room appear many women, this women are doing different activities and positions and the painting shows a interaction between these women, they are looking at different things however each objet or person in the room is related to each other, if you look the gaze of each you will notice that they look at certain things in specific for that this painting iv very enigmatic, because each person look different things of him.

This painting has a great meaning for the qualitative science because represent the subjective gaze of this science, for example the sociology, anthropology or human geography because in this science the qualitative gaze is the most important paradigm.

I saw this painting for first time on my school, for one work of history, and I was much struck its meaning, because first I don’t understand the real meaning of the painting but when my teacher explain me the meaning was very awesome.

I like this painting also because the lyric of a song is about the meaning of this painting but applied to love, the name of the song is “Las Meninas” by Mecanica Popular.

Santiago.

Santiago is a big city, it is a metropolis and one of most important capitals of the world, Santiago have around of seven millions of habitants, and concentrate the different government powers except the congress, Santiago is one of the most contaminated cities of the world, im not from Santiago, im from Buin and I don’t like Santiago in many topics, for example the pollution, the stress of people, the acoustic contamination, the concentration of people, the environment is a lot of contaminated for me, come to Santiago is a crazy.

I like the tranquility of Buin, the clean air and one environment free of pollution,  although some things of Santiago not dislike me for example my university, in my university I can learn who to be a great professional on the future, other thing is the commercial area of Santiago, for example “Meiggs” in this street you can buy many thing in just one place, other important point for me of Santiago is the historic meaning, in Santiago we find many historic places for example the palace of “La Moneda”, the parade ground, the Santa Lucia and the San Cristobal.

If I can changes something of Santiago, one of them could be the pollution of the city, pollution affect many people whit some pulmonary disease and children, for that and if I can I will reduce the industrial emissions.

If I can change other thing of Santiago, this thing could be the regulator plan of the city because Santiago grow up all day and the planification is very important for the people and his life quality. The geography is a weapon to combat this problem.

If I can tell to tourist what point of Santiago visit, could be the historic places, of Santiago, an the externals communes like Buin or Paine.

I’m a metal goat; the metal goats are very sensitive personalities who hold an “I am unbreakable” exterior. I think that it’s true because I a sensitive person, I like make feel my love to my family, friends an girlfriend, I’m very creative, and I think I’m a intelligent.

Metal goat are well liked people who have lots of friend, they are very successful in the arts and entertainment profession, I think that is true because I’m a very sociable gay and I love arts and geographer job, in the future I could be a grate geographer.

I’m not a lover of horoscope or paranormality, I don’t believe in this thinks but I accept the many characteristics of the metal goat are like me.

Close friends and family of the Metal Sheep understand this is simply a front for those sensitive emotions tucked inside.

Other characteristics of the goat are the next smart. Artistic, kind, happy, reserved, insecure, dependent.

I think I’m smart, I love arts, I’m a happy man, and I’m not a reserved, insecure and dependent.

I usually don’t read horoscope, because I don’t believe in that one horoscope can t determine my future, I determine my future.

My Christmas

In my last Christmas i was in the house of my sister with my family, for dinner i ate meat with rise, it was so delicious, followed, we talked about many topics for example the summer and other think, next we called by phone to my grandfather he lives in Iquique, all family talked with he.

When twelve come we prayer for all world people, for the family and for our deceased relatives, followed we spent our gift, I don’t give anything because I did not have money but y spent many kisses and love for my family and wrote one letter for my mom with a poem.

My sister gave a gift to my father, this gift was on small bag, my father opened the bag and inside was a little baby socks, and my father asked what is this?, and my sister answer, - dad, I pregnant!,- my sister have 30 years old and she not have any children, this baby is the first children of my sisters. That was a most beautiful surprise and gift of this Christmas, I was very happy, and now all my family is very happy with the new member of the family.

My favorite beach

My favorite beach is Cavancha, located on first region of Chile in the Iquique City, this beaches is one of the most important beaches of the north zone of the country, because, many foreign tourist visit the beach, this tourist are from of Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia, and the beach represent just one attractive of the beautiful Iquique city.

The “Zona Franca” or ZOFRI represent the most important atactive of the city, an the beaches represent one value-added to the tourism of the zone.

The waves on Cavancha beach are not so big, and the sands have a mixture of brown and white colors, besides the municipality invert much money in the image of the beach for example: just four years ago the mayor of Iquique city inaugurated a touristic road, this road have different attractions, one of this atractives are one little zoo around the beach, in this zoo live a family of crocodiles, many deferens spices of fish, and other animals like altiplanic yamas.

In my free time I like play football with my friends of Paine, I like to field to play soccer, my favorite position is forward, because i love to make goals.  I like skateboarding too, because, I can make many tricks on the table, some weekends I go to the skating rink in O´ Higgins Park, but I can’t go all weekends, because I live in Buin and O’Higgins park is very away from my house, for that, some time I can skate on the street or the park of my neighborhood with my friends and my cousin.

Some time I like go to camp just for walk, I go with my girlfriend, that is so romantic and relaxing because in the camp the wind is very clean and  do not have pollution, I like feel the sing of the birds, and smell the flowers, for my this represent a escape of the stress of Santiago, I love Buin for its tranquility, when I walk around the camp I close my eyes and just feel the wind over my hair, then I sit in the shade of a tree for rest.
